ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Phil Shearer is an award winning, thirty-year veteran of the entertainment industry, working both as a creative and technical professional. His talent for innovative lighting design and passion for creating stunning imagery has taken him around the globe to collaborate with some of the industry’s most inspired visionaries.
His body of work is as varied and eclectic as his background in show business itself. From theatrical productions, live events and exhibit design to a vast film and television career, Mr. Shearer enjoys working in a wide variety of creative environments and mediums.
Not only a knowledgeable lighting designer and fluent programmer, he can also be found behind the camera as an accomplished cinematographer. Mr. Shearer has been an educator, teaching film and television production as a vocational class for WARNER BROS., and has been a guest speaker to both High School and University students throughout the country over the course of his distinguished career.
